Easter Holiday Fun at Stowe House 

Hop over to Stowe House this Easter holiday for a relaxed family day out. During the school holidays we will be running a simple Easter trail and craft activity for children to enjoy as they explore the house. All activities are included with house admission. Children aged 6 to 16 cost £3, and under 5s go free.

Parks Trust - Free Easter Trail 

Head to Willen Lake for their free Easter trail running every day during the Easter holidays. The Easter Bunny has been hopping around Willen Lake and accidentally dropped eight of his eggs! Each one comes with a fun challenge, from spotting wildlife and discovering different leaves to striking your best bunny pose. Kids can get creative, get active, and enjoy the fresh air as they follow the trail around the lakeside. 
 
To join in, simply collect your trail sheet from the Watersports Centre and set off on your mission. Find all eight eggs and return your sheet at the end to claim a special Easter treat. The trail is most suited to children under 8 years of age, but everyone is welcome to take part.

Milton Keynes Museum - Easter Egg Hunt 

The hunt will be on at Milton Keynes Museum this Easter bank holiday weekend as youngsters search for hidden eggs which lead the way to yummy chocolate rewards. The egg search runs daily from Good Friday to Easter Monday, and little creatives will be able to get busy with ancient-gallery-themed arts and crafts, where they can make their very own paper-plate bunny and peekaboo peg chick (April 1-6 and April 8-10). 
 
And you can decorate your own Easter-themed cookie for a small charge (April 3-6), while history fans of all ages will also enjoy getting hands-on with replica and original artefacts. Make the most of the Easter school holidays with a visit packed full of hands-on fun and discovery. Step inside the farmhouse to enjoy traditional Parlour Games, make toast over the open fire in the kitchen and wander along the much-loved Street of Shops, where beautifully preserved façades bring our historic high streets back to life.

From the 28th March, and throughout the school holidays, we will have our 'nest trail' available for children and their families. Pick up a trail sheet from the cafe or hatch and follow the trail markers to find out more about the birds that nest here - £2 per participating child, and they get a sticker at the end.
