Liquid Art Events at The Grand Junction & The Navigation Cosgrove
Come down to The Grand Junction in Buckingham to our kids’ activity event, they’ll be able to get creative and produce some awesome Artwork they can be proud of! All art supplies, aprons, pizza, hot chocolate, and music included – and we’ll be on hand to help them create some cool artwork to take home and hang up! With a mixture of being taught step by step or going off on their own, allow your kids to unleash their creativity.
We recommend that the event is appropriate for age 7 – 15-year-olds. Please enquire if outside this age range to see if this would be appropriate for them. This is just for fun and creating artwork to take home.

February half-term for a silent disco!
Join us at Dunstable Downs this February half-term for a silent disco! The perfect way to shake off all that half-term energy and get everyone moving. Recommended age 3 - 12 years. Book @ https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk
16th - 20th February | £2 per headset | booking required - head to the comments to book your space on our silent disco dance floor. All children must be accompanied by an adult. If adults wish to join in then they will also need to book a headset in advance.
Pony Events & Activities Camp
Join us for a Holiday Club and half-term events with a difference! Children will have a full, fun-packed day at the Equestrian Centre – with a range of activities to get them active and make friends. They’ll also be getting very hands-on with our friendly ponies, learning about grooming, feeding, and mucking out, as well as enjoying a pony ride and decorating the ponies with chalks and accessories!
This activity is suitable for children who have never ridden and for those who can already ride. Please note that children must be left for this session (parents cannot wait on-site), and they must bring a packed lunch and a named water bottle. Olney Pancake Race 2026
The historic Olney Pancake Race takes place on Shrove Tuesday, 17 February 2026, and follows a great tradition; the race is reputed to have taken place since 1445 and has certainly run every year since 1948, except for 2021.
The children’s races will take place at 10.00, and the main race goes off at 11.55 am. All the runners join visitors for a Shriving Service held in the Church of St Peter and St Paul immediately after the race. The service will include some of the famous Olney Hymns, written by Rev. John Newton and the poet William Cowper, in particular, the hymn ‘Amazing Grace’.
