2. Laser Tag Outdoors – Halloween Open Session - 18th & 26th October: It's nothing like indoor laser tag, it's totally different! Dress up, and the top three best-dressed winners will win prizes and enjoy lots more spooky fun. Play two hour session of adrenaline filled fun laser tag playing our amazing missions and play on different mission maps, Capture the flag, Team Elimination and Domination. 3. Spirits of Stowe Halloween Trail at Stowe Gardens - 25th Oct to 2nd November: Join us for a spooktacular Halloween trail this autumn! Spot ghosts in the garden, solve spooky puzzles in our free activity booklet, and learn more about some of the ghosts said to haunt New Inn. 4. Spooky reusable hairbraid workshop - 28th Oct: Come, little witches, it's your busiest time of the year! Your parties await! You need to do your hair! Make a scary hair braid you can reuse again. Book @ Willen Workshop 
 
5. Castle Ashby Pumpkin Hunt 2025 - 25th Oct to 2nd November: Our Pumpkin Hunt is back! This Halloween, please help us find the lost pumpkins hidden on a trail through Castle Ashby Gardens by the Wicked Witch. There is a spooky cavern on the way - enter if you dare! - and see if you can find the Wicked Witch. Children and toddlers will be given a Pumpkin Hunt sheet to fill in. At the end of the trail, children (3-16 years old) will receive a Halloween gift bag, and toddlers (1-2 years old) will receive a magical fairy tale book! 6. Milton Keynes Museum - Half Term 27 – 31 October: Entertain the kids at your local museum this half term. As well as our usual hands-on exhibits and interactive experiences with got lots of extra activities to keep your little monsters entertained. Let the kids unleash their creativity with spooky biscuit decorating (for a small additional fee) and fun craft activities. They’ll also have the chance to transform into little gremlins with our face painting! The Granary Tearoom will be serving some wickedly delicious sweet and savoury snacks. 7. October Kids Club: Recycled Week Little Monsters: 25th Oct 2025 - 11am - 4pm - Door 1, Outside M&S Food Hall. Get in the spirit for Halloween at our October Kids Club. 8. The Patch at Leon Rec - 31st October: Join us for lots of autumn and halloween fun on Leon Rec. Dont forget to get dressed up for our best costume competiton - we love a homemade cardboard robot! 9. Showtime Circus: Parent & Child Halloween Circus Workshop! Join us for a thrilling 2-hour circus adventure at Conniburrow Community Centre this Halloween! 13. Ridden Trick or Treat Trail: This October Half Term, we’re getting a little spooky with a ride Trick or Treat Trail! Children will meet our friendly ponies and enjoy a led pony ride along our tricky Trail with the promise of a treat at the end! 14. Xplorer Challenge at Rushmere - 30th October, 2025 at 11:00am: The Xplorer Challenge, run by Central Bedfordshire Council, returns to the park this Autumn Half Term. It's fun for all the family and free to attend (although you will need to pay for your parking), just turn up! Final admission at 12.45 pm. The team will be in the Herons View Visitor Centre. Xplorer is a family-friendly navigation challenge that is educational and fun, and gives children a sense of adventure as they explore the park to find the markers. It involves a healthy mix of physical activity and decision-making that the whole family can enjoy together. At each marker, children need to identify what is pictured and enjoy learning a fun fact. 15. Spooky Half Term Trail - Saturday 25th – Sunday 2nd November 2025: This half term, join our woodland animals as they go Trick or Treating around our Glowing Halloween Trail. Enjoy a spooky stroll, knock on tiny doors and discover glow in the dark secrets, before collecting your spooky toy AND a sweet treat! Trail packs cost £3.50 to purchase from the Visitor Centre and include a ghastly gift at the end. Suitable for all ages, allow around 45 minutes – 1 hour, for an eerie adventure around Solstice Lake, including some spooky stops. No booking necessary – just purchase your trail leaflet from the Visitor Centre. 17. Jordans School of Magic - 3D Halloween Trail, Bedfordshire: Our magical school timetable has been scrambled up by playful witches and cheeky woodland ghosts! They've mixed up all the lessons, and now we need your help to put things right. As you journey through the meadow and woodland, look out for each lesson along the trail. Can you spot the lesson and work out which class it belongs to? 
 
At every location, write down the spooky lesson on your trail sheet and match to the correct class to help restore order to our school of magic. As you follow the trail, use your 3D classes to reveal a secret hidden letter. The letters will spell out a magic word. Return to the Mill shop and speak the magic word to stop the mischievous witches and ghosts from mixing up the lessons again.

18. Wed 29 Oct - LiquidArt Kid's Event! Spooky House! at The Grand Junction! Come down to The Grand Junction in Buckingham to our kids’ activity event, where they’ll be able to get creative and produce some awesome artwork they can be proud of! This time, it's our Halloween-themed painting! 
 
All art supplies, aprons, Pizza, Hot Chocolate, and music included – and we’ll be on hand to help them create some cool artwork to take home and hang up! Everything will be taught step by step by our artist, and allow your kids to unleash their creativity.

19. Ghost Train - Caldecotte Miniature Railway: 31st October - 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm.  
We're pleased to announce that the Caldecotte Miniature Railway Halloween train will return once again this October, on Friday, 31st. We'll be running from 16:30 in the daylight, but do you dare ride the train in the dark? We'll be running till 19:30 🎃 
As always, we'll still be Milton Keynes' cheapest day out, all tickets cost just £2 per person, and under 2's go free. Fancy dress encouraged, see you there! 
 
20. October Adventures at Dunstable Downs: Knights' Quest: The Dragon has escaped from the castle dungeon and is hiding the castle’s jewels in his lair. The jewels give the dragon energy for his fire breathing mischief. Knights of Dunstable Downs must find the dragon and return the jewels to the castle treasure chest. The king’s seer has foretold that the dragon is somewhere deep in it's cave and that retrieving the jewels will be no easy feat. Before you begin, you will need a sword to take with you. The more creative you are, the more protective it will be on your quest!

21. Halloween: after dark at Dunstable Downs 2025: Get ready for a frighteningly fun Halloween evening as we invite you to explore Dunstable Downs after dark – perfect for the whole family. @ Click Here 
 
Dragon's trail: take a part in our trail as night falls to see what our resident dragon has been up to. (a different adventure to our daytime Knights quest trail) 
Dragon Craft: get crafty and create your very own mini paper dragon

Treats (and tricks): sink you fangs into a selection of food and drinks available for purchase
