5. MKPA Play Days: All Summer
Milton Keynes Play Association has been championing the power of play for over 50 years. We’re a charity dedicated to making creative, inclusive and sustainable play a natural part of everyday life. Everything we do is rooted in the belief that play helps children grow, explore and thrive.
6. Blue Light Fun Day: 30th July
Families are invited to join us for a Blue Light Community Fun Day on Thursday 30 July, from 11am to 2pm at Conniburrow Community Centre.
Organised in partnership with Milton Keynes City Council and local emergency services, this free community event is a fantastic opportunity to meet the people who work every day to keep our communities safe.
Visitors will have the chance to meet representatives from Thames Valley Police, British Transport Police, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance Service, explore emergency vehicles, meet the police horses and learn more about the vital work each service carries out. There will also be plenty of fun for children and families, including an E-Scooter Obstacle Course, inflatables, table football, table tennis and a range of games and activities throughout the day.

11. Summer Fun at Bletchley Park: All Summer

12. Take a walk and have a picnic at Campbell Park
The original vision for Campbell Park was for it to be the cultural heart of the city, with sculptures sited in the park alongside art installations, performances and temporary shows. Today you can see thirteen pieces of public art within the park.

17. Visit Rushmere Country Park - Heron's Hangout Children's Play Area
A great place to discover nature and enjoy the outdoors with over 400 acres of woodland, heathland, and meadows to enjoy. Great Linford Manor Park is a beautiful place for all the family to enjoy the great outdoors and discover the history of the local area, with a history stretching back to at least Saxon times. 20. Bletchley Big Street Eat: 25th July
Families across the community are invited to enjoy a free day of entertainment as the Bletchley Big Street Eat returns on Saturday 25 July, from 12pm to 5pm.
Taking place in the heart of Bletchley along Queensway, which will be pedestrianised for the occasion, the popular annual event promises something for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of free activities including fairground rides, face painting, go-karting, circus workshops, cooking experiences, live entertainment, food stalls, and creative sessions for all ages.
The Main Stage will showcase local musical and performing talent, with a special headline performance from a tribute act celebrating the music of Taylor Swift.

22. The Beach at Woburn Sands: July & August
Our Beach at Frosts Woburn Sands is back by popular demand! Join our resident lifeguards for two hours' worth of fun and games on our fully covered beach.

25. Summer Open Weekend at Stowe: 1st & 2nd of August
We're opening our doors for free to mark 300 years of architect Sir John Vanbrugh's creative legacy.
Vanbrugh arrived at Stowe in 1719, working alongside garden designer Charles Bridgeman and commissioned by Lord Cobham, who had just begun developing the estate after years abroad. Vanbrugh’s role was to bring architectural drama to the grounds and help unify the existing house. Although many of his structures were later altered or replaced, his creative flair marked the beginning of Stowe’s transformation into one of Britain’s great 18th‑century estates.
