We are a contact karate/kickboxing club for children (over 4 years old) and adults. We encourage families to train together, promoting a healthy mind in a healthy body. ECKA Newton Longville and Wolverton pride ourselves on being a friendly club with an enjoyable environment for training, suitable for beginners through to advanced levels. Sensei Lauren Cronin has been training since the age of eleven, earning her 1st dan black belt at the age of fifteen in 2003. She has since advanced to her 2nd dan in 2006, 3rd dan in 2011, and was most recently awarded her 4th dan black belt in 2017. Sensei Josh Collins has been training with the English Contact Karate Association since 2013, achieving his 1st dan black belt with the association in 2018. Sensei Josh has been instructing at the club since then and regularly competes in points, continuous, and forms. Sensei Josh is also first aid qualified, DBS checked, and a WAKO qualified instructor.
